In FOCAL POINT (original title: IM ZENTRUM) it seems the camera has taken over the subjective viewpoint of a person intending to cross a street. One may assume it is a highly nervous person facing a kind of anxiety attack. For this person crossing a street must be a big step. We are experiencing time standing still. And chaos all around.
When finally the mission is accomplished the person seems to have returned to the beginning of this journey and so to him/her former peace of mind.
